‘Skylines and Sidelines’
This work explores the contrast between the city's gleaming high-rises and its overlooked margins. Working from a photograph taken on the outskirts of an American city, I was drawn to the tension between what commands our attention and what exists quietly at the edges.
Through layered colours and geometric forms, I've built a visual dialogue between visibility and invisibility—between those who shape the skyline and those who live on the sidelines. The composition reflects the complexity of urban life, where beauty and neglect exist side by side.
